Gym Day

from $50.00

Gym Day is my slightly twisted interpretation of the wonderful world of fitness, where determination, exhaustion, and questionable life choices sometimes collide.

Inspired by Cubism and Expressionism, I combined overlapping faces, exaggerated expressions, and fragmented figures to capture the chaos of a good workout. The warm oranges, yellows, and reds bring intensity to the composition, while the bold black lines and abstract patterns create a sense of movement and energy.

I've always found something amusing about the expressions people make when they're pushing themselves physically. There's the determined look before a workout, the moment of regret somewhere in the middle, and the unmistakable expression of someone wondering why they voluntarily signed up for this.

Gym Day celebrates the strange relationship we have with exercise. We willingly put ourselves through discomfort, occasionally question our sanity, and somehow keep coming back for more.

No pain, no gain. Or at least that's what we keep telling ourselves.
