Three Eyes explores individuality, perception, and the complexity of identity through a collection of overlapping faces and unexpected perspectives. Inspired by Cubism, the figures are fragmented and reconstructed into a single composition, where three watchful eyes emerge from an intricate arrangement of geometric shapes, bold patterns, and expressive linework.
Strong black-and-white contrasts give the figures an almost sculptural quality, while touches of blue, orange, yellow, and violet bring personality to each face. The warm, textured background, filled with wandering lines and delicate spirals, introduces a sense of spontaneity that contrasts with the structured geometry of the figures.
Three Eyes reflects my fascination with breaking the rules of traditional portraiture, allowing multiple personalities and perspectives to coexist in a single image. The result is both playful and mysterious, inviting the viewer to discover something new with every look. Original: 36 × 48 Acrylic on Canvas. (Available)
