Kounter Kulture explores individuality, defiance, and the courage to exist outside convention. Drawing on Cubism and Expressionism, the exaggerated figure is broken into bold shapes, sweeping lines, and dramatic contrasts that challenge traditional ideas of portraiture.
The raised hand suggests both declaration and resistance—a figure choosing to be seen and heard rather than simply conform. The restrained palette gives the painting an almost sculptural quality, while the warm eye and lips provide unexpected moments of humanity and vulnerability.
Kounter Kulture is ultimately about standing apart: questioning expectations, embracing difference, and finding beauty in what refuses to fit neatly within the lines.
Original": 30 × 40 Acryllic on Canvas. (Available)
