The Dilemma is one of those paintings that raises more questions than it answers. What did the artist have in mind?

The contrast between the man's serious expression and the absurd simplicity of an ice cream cone creates a little visual humor. Bold colors, exaggerated features, and a bright blue background add to the painting's slightly surreal quality.

I enjoy creating artwork that makes people stop, look, and wonder what exactly is going on. The Dilemma is a conversation piece, the kind of painting that gets a second look, a laugh, or an entirely unexpected interpretation. If you’re an art collector this one will spark discussion at cocktail parties.
