A Day at the Pub captures the characters, conversations, and camaraderie of a neighborhood watering hole. A collection of men crowd together, sharing drinks, exchanging stories, and enjoying the kind of company that makes a few hours at the pub disappear before you know it.

With exaggerated facial features, expressive eyes, and a warm, earthy palette, I wanted to give each character a personality of his own. The overlapping figures create a sense of closeness and activity, while the subtle expressions leave plenty to the imagination. Who's telling the story? Who's buying the next round? And who's had one too many?

I've always enjoyed observing people and the little moments that reveal their personalities. Day at the Pub is a celebration of those everyday characters and the stories that unfold when people get together, especially when there's a pint involved.
